SSASWA was born in 2009, with an aim to help poverty-stricken women in the society. The original purpose of the organization was to provide training in cutting, sewing & embroidery and other welfare activities to empower the women folk to become self-reliant and autonomous.
In 2011, journey started with a small group of women and from that point on word it has grown at a steady pace engaging self confident women and men as well from different sectors of the society, helping them by creating opportunities for financial independence.
